Small Groups

Purpose: To move people toward a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ (dependence) and to be a vehicle in helping them to be transformed into the image of God (to think, feel and act like Jesus).

Whether you are a newcomer to Rockyview or you have been coming here for years, a Small Group is a great place for you to grow in your relationship with God.

WHO…can join a small group?
Anyone!  If you are looking for a safe place to grow in your relationship with God, then small groups are for you.

WHAT…is a small group?
It’s a group of 8-12 people who meet together weekly to discuss God’s word, to pray for one another and to develop significant relationships with one another. If you are looking for caring friendships and looking to grow spiritually, then small groups are for you!

WHEN & WHERE…do small groups meet?
Generally, one group member will open up their home and host the weekly meetings. The groups meet on various evenings throughout the week. We will try to find a group that is relatively close to where you live, on an evening that works best for you.

WHY…be part of a small group?
We believe that a vital part to spiritual growth is being in meaningful relationships with other Christ followers. Hebrews 10:24-25 challenges us to meet together and spur one another on in our faith. Being part of a small group can help you feel at home and cared for here at Rockyview. God has always intended for us to grow in the context of community…small groups are a great place for that to happen.

HOW…do I join a small group?
You can fill out a Small Group sign-up form (located at our welcome kiosk) and drop it off at the church office. You can also use our questions/comments box on the Contacts page of this web site

Our Pastor of Community Life, Rob Wilms, will call you to begin the process of finding the right small group for you.
