Nursery Leaders

Description

Our Nursery Leaders love on newborns and toddlers (ages 2 and under) during our Sunday morning services.   They provide safety, quality care and age-appropriate learning for little ones so that parents can participate in the worship service. 

Timeframe

Sunday mornings beginning September 2021.

Process

To provide the safest possible environment for our kids and the most rewarding experience for our leaders, all potential volunteers must complete the following process:

o   APPLICATION: Complete a Children’s Ministry Application, including a background check and references.

o   CONVERSATION: Have a face to face conversation with the Family Ministries Pastor.

o   ORIENTATION: Attend a “Plan to Protect” Training Event.

Kid's Large Group Teachers / Storytellers

Description

The Storyteller shares the day’s portion of The Big God Story in a fun, engaging way. They encourage kids to follow along in their Bibles and get them interacting with the narrative. The Storyteller leads out of an overflow of their own life, telling personal stories as prompted and guiding the kids into a time of natural worship response.

Kid's Small Group Leaders

Description

The Small Group Leader shepherds the children through questions about The Big God Story and biblical truth, engages them in community-building activities, helps them create a remembrance of their experience, and blesses them before they leave.
