Worship Arts

At Rockyview Alliance Church we believe that the Worship Arts Teams are a vital part of our ministry.  Members should view their function as ministers of the gospel - wether your gifting is through music, song, sound production, video production, media, visual arts, dance, drama, stage design, lighting, or dramatic arts.  Those who serve on the worship arts team, therefore, should view their role as a calling from God.

Membership on a worship team is a position of Christian leadership. The primary function is to lead the congregation in true worship under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24).  We emphasize that our purpose and calling is that of leading others into the very presence of the Living God.  There is no calling issued for 'showmanship' - only true praise & worhsip.  Therfore, members must strive continually through prayer and example to have a pure heart before God and others.

The vision for our worhsip at RAC is to maintain a music and arts program of excellence before the Lord. We desire to have a well-rounded worship arts teams that include singers, musicians, sound, & media volunteers.  As we value the growth and inclusion of children here at RAC, we will also have special oppertunities for younger children available throughout our programming.

The commintment to be involved on regular Sunday morning worship team rotation is a 2 hour rehearsal on Thursday evenings, and to be available for about 4 hours on a sunday morning, usually once a month.

We currently produce weekly videos for our Online Church and our RAC Kids ministry. We regularily include extra footage, special videos, or graphics in these productions. If you have any expertise in these areas we would love to hear from you!

We are currently in need of volunteers in all areas. If you would like more information, or to get involved, please email our church office at office@rockyviewalliance.com or click on the Contact button below.
