We will explore four macro issues that affect every marriage. We will look at some tools and strategies that will help us navigate those issues. Through this material, and through stories from our own speakers Randy & Donna, you will learn to understand each other better; to communicate better; to do conflict with each other in a healthy way, and even to love each other better. To figure out where you want to go in your marriage you need to establish where you are. In this session Randy and Donna look at the two macro issues that affect every marriage. They share authentically how these issues have affected their own relationship and give tools to help couples assess where they are and how to get unstuck from damaging patterns.

 

The Cherish Challenge
This session explores the hidden source of conflict in marriage and the unhealthy patterns that evolve in our attempt to regain connection. The Carters unpack the neuro-science of conflict and the brain-hacks that can help us make it constructive.

Mining Your Hearts Needs
Most of us don’t know our own unique heart needs let alone our partner’s. We can’t be strategic about meeting them if we don’t know what they are and can’t articulate them to our spouse. Donna and Randy will lead couples through a process of discovery that will result in each of you understanding exactly what their partner needs to thrive in the relationship.
